Funeral services for Margaret Ann Skinner, 60, of Marshall will beheld 10 A.M., Thursday, March 1, 2012 in the Chapel of Downs FuneralHome with burial to follow in Eagle Creek Cemetery in Harleton. PastorRandy Gunter and Bro. Alvin Cisco will officiate. Visitation will beheld 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Downs Funeral Home.Mrs. Skinner passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012.
Mrs. Skinner was born February 8, 1952 in Vidor, Texas to Virgle B.and Willie Roberson. She graduated from Marshall High School andworked for Marshall ISD for a number of years as a teacher's aide.Mrs. Skinner was a homemaker, and enjoyed riding motorcycles,crocheting and shopping. She was a member of Living Word Ministrieswhere she was active in the Women's Prayer Group and enjoyed teaching.She married Bradley Skinner on September 19, 1967 in Colombia, Mexico.
Mrs. Skinner is survived by her husband, Bradley Skinner of Marshall;daughters, Kimberly and Scott Crowder of Diana and Terri and AlanBrown of Arlington; grandchildren, Megan Robinson, Jonathan Robinson,Joshua and Jodi Crowder, Tiffany Tennimon and Ben, Kristen Yanez andLexi, Lisa Brown, Allan Brown, Jr., and Katlyn Brown; greatgrandchild, Maycie Patterson; sisters, Nellie George of Marshall andNora Brazelle of Hallsville; and brothers, Olan Lee Roberson ofLufkin, James Roberson, Albert Roberson, and Mike Roberson, all ofMarshall.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Odelle Robersonand Walton Roberson; sister, Martha Monroe; and children, Joey MasonSkinner and Jonathon David Skinner
