Mr. Walsh was born in Indianapolis on July 17, 1927 to the late Charles G. and Edna Richter Walsh. He graduated from Shortridge High School in 1945; attended Indiana University and graduated from Butler University College of Pharmacy in 1951. On August 4, 1951 he married Barbara J. Drollinger Walsh, she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Douglas B. (Debbie) and Michael C. (Lynne) Walsh; sister, Betty Eldridge and three grandchildren, Kevin, Stephanie and Caitlin Walsh. He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret (Peggy) Walsh-Sibley. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, National Assoc. of Retail Pharmacists, Service Club of Indianapolis, Northminster Presbyterian Church and America Legion Post #153. Mr. Walsh owned and operated Walsh Pharmacy, Binkley's Pharmacy and the Heather Hills Pharmacy. He later worked for Hooks Drugs and Reliable Drugs retiring in 1995. Mr. Walsh proudly served in the United States Navy his decorations include American Theater Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Medal and WWII Victory Medal.
