  	Mrs. Fred Gurley (nee Myrtle Smith) died at her home in Alliance, Neb., on Friday afternoon, at about five o'clock. The deceased, who had a wide circle of friends in Sheridan, had only been ill about a week and succumbed to an attack of pneumonia. She is survived by her husband and a two year-old baby. The remains were brought to Sheridan last night on No. 43 and the funeral arrangements will be announced later.
