Cumberland - Sally (Woodworth) Cleary, 76, of Cumberland passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Cleary. They had been married 53 years.
Born in Portland, OR, a daughter of the late Miles and Kathryn (Epperson) Woodworth, she had lived in Cumberland for the past 37 years.
Sally was employed by Dr. David Ettensohn in Pawtucket for several years. She had previously worked for New England Life in Boston and Tillotson-Pearson Yachts in Bristol.
She was a longtime member of Four Corners Community Chapel and the Abbott Run Valley Club, both of Cumberland.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her four loving daughters, Kristin Cleary of Cumberland, Sharon Eastman and her husband, Jeff of North Attleboro, MA, Sue Ellen Dalton and her husband, Mark of Smithfield, and Linda Ingle of Cumberland; her three beloved grandchildren, Jayne and twins, Annie and Bryce, all of Cumberland; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Judi Swift.
Her funeral was held Wednesday, December 28 in Four Corners Community Chapel, Cumberland. Her burial was private in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
