Everett Scott Duckworth, 73, died Tuesday in Meyersdale (Pa.) Community
Hospital.
Born at Addison, Pa., he was a son of the late Zepharia and Sara
(Speicher) Duckworth. A retired merchant of the Keyser Ridge area, Mr. Duckworth was the first Southern States Cooperative agent in Garrett County. He held membership in St. John's Lutheran Church, The Cove, and Grantsville Camp 41, Woodman of the World.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lucille (Folk) Duckworth;
a son, Carl Duckworth, Accident; a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Brenneman, Grantsville;
a foster daughter, Mrs. Doris Schwinabart, Keyser, W. Va.; two brothers, William
Duckworth, Fountain City, Ind., and Thomas Duckworth, Richmond, Ind., six
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body will remain at the Newman
Funeral Home until 1 p.m. tomorrow when it will be taken to St. John's Church
for services at 2 p.m. Rev. John H. Icenhower will officiate and interment will
be in the church cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home today
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
