DOYLESTOWN - Mary Jane Drollinger, age 83 of Doylestown, passed away on October 3, 2014. On May 29, 1931, a girl was born to William and Effie Schmale on a farm in Doylestown. Growing up, her father ran a meat market on Wooster Rd. in Barberton. The youngest of five, her siblings, Jack, Dorothy Mae, Bob Schmale and Roberta Rector have all preceded her in death. A homemaker, she enjoyed cake decorating, knitting, and making clothes for her family. She had the best laugh. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. in 1994, Mary Jane is survived by her children, Bruce of Akron and Keith (Kay) of Doylestown; grandchildren, Jeremy and Kristen Drollinger; many nieces, nephews. The family wishes to thank her friends, Ellen and Dixie, and caregivers, Deb, Grace, Susan, Judy, Lynn, Megan, Nancy, and Sue. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. at The Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, 44230 with Rev. Carl Dulin, officiating. Burial to take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends and family may call on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Care Hospice, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, OH 44691.
