• Notes

  Her middle is spelled "May" on her birth record and "Mae" in her obituary. Curiously, Lawrence Ray Putman was identified as Clyda Mae (nee) Drollinger's son in her obituary. The same is also true of Clyda's husband, Perley Jensen's obituary. Lawrence is actually the son of Ross Rolland Putman and Lelia Grace Shacklett. Lelia is the daughter of Zulah O. (nee) Drollinger and Joseph Albright Shacklett. Zula is the daughter of Burl Perry Drollinger. Clyda's grandfather is Burl Perry Drollinger, therefore, Clyda and Zulah are neice and aunt respectively. The following is an excerpt from the Thursday, May 23, 1935 issue of the The Flathead Courier: "Marriage Licenses Issued - Marriage licenses were issued last Saturday from the office of Clerk of Court...Perley Jensen and Clyda May Drollinger of Kalispell"
