- Kathleen Hollowell Drollinger, 89, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and formerly of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024. She was born in Poplar Grove, Arkansas, in 1935, was a graduate of Barton High School, and was retired from her position as a bookkeeper for Comley Construction Company in Fayetteville. Earlier in her career, she owned and managed Twin City Piano and Organ Company in North Little Rock, taught piano lessons, played piano and organ for her church, and was an accomplished dressmaker and seamstress.
A woman of strong Christian beliefs, she was an active and contributing member of the First Baptist Church in Bentonville. Her unwavering devotion to her faith provided her with guidance and strength in all aspects of her life, and served as an example to those around her. Kathleen was also a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was unfailingly gracious, humble, and welcoming to all, with a ready smile and kind words for everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Dale Drollinger; her parents, Lewis Burton "L. B." and Doris Hollowell; her sisters, Myrtice H. Berry and Norma E. Wood; and her brothers, Harold J. Hollowell and Neville Hollowell.
Her survivors include her two sons and their wives, Michael and Lori Bennett of Eureka Springs and Dr. Christopher and Marie Bennett of Harrison; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Union Chapel Cemetery on Highway 127 in Garfield. Donations to the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas, may be made in lieu of flowers. Arrangements under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
