- Mrs. Effie Simpson, wife of Andrew Simpson and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Watson Mock, died at her parents' home at Roaring Spring Wednesday afternoon of last week.
She was born at Cessna February 17, 1880, and went to Roraring Spring with her parents a few years ago. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by one daughter, five sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at her late home Friday afternoon conducted by Rev. H. E. Berkey. Interment was made in Greenlawn Cemetery, Roaring Spring.
