      Mrs. Annie E. Rhodes, a lifelong resident of Saxton, R. D., died at her home this morning, February 3, 1942. She was born in Blair county, a daughter of Samuel and Frances "Fannie" (Drolinger) Rowser. On November 18, 1876, at Tipton, Iowa, she was united in marriage to James Rhodes, who preceded her In death. Surviving are three children: Mrs. Joseph Gerbert, of Sacramento, Cal., Miss Leah Rhodes and Milton Rhodes, both of Saxton, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Ella Rhodes, of Saxton; Miss Nancy Rowser, of Tipton, Iowa; Mrs. Oscar J. Spear, of Buckingham, Iowa; Milton Rowser, of Mechanicsville, Iowa; Irvin and Charles Rowser, living in the state of Colorado; Edward Rowser, of Stamvood, Iowa, and Wayne Rowser, of Tipton.
