Loving father of Rita (William) Weaks, Ralph (Gail), and Donna (Joe) Ricksgers. Dear grandfather of William Joseph Kacir, Ralph Jerome "RJ" (Sandy), Ann Renee (Michael) Todd, and of his great grandchildren, Matthew Wasik, and Ryder. Beloved brother of Jane (Don) Ostegen and Daniel Wasik. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews. He served his country during WWII with the U.S. Army. He earned various medals;such as the Siver and Bronze Stars. He fought during the Battle of the Bulge and the Invasion of Normandy. The Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Hope at the St. Germaine Campus. Arrangements by Wasik Funeral Home. Published by the Detroit Free Press on 10-23-2016.
