Notes - Obit: "Mary Elizabeth Buckingham Cecil, wife of J. H. Cecil, of Dublin, died at the home of her son, Henry R. Cecil, at midnight last night after a lingering illness.
She was a daughter of the late Joseph B. and Sarah Buckingham and was born and reared in Pulaski county.
December 16, 1876 [year different from marriage record] she married J. H. Cecil and to this union three sons were born: W. C., J. B., and H. R. J. B. and W. C. preceded her to the grave several years ago.
Besides her son, H. R., she is survived by her husband, J. H. Cecil and the following grandchildren: Hazel B. Cecil, Winifred A. Cecil and Ernest Cecil, all of Dublin and W. Lee Cecil, at Roanoke.
Funeral services will be conducted from the home of her son, Henry R. Cecil Wednesday afternoon at 8 o'clock by her pastor the Rev. S. O. Frye, pastor of the Dublin Methodist church. Interment will be in the family plot in Dublin cemetery
