- Wayne Douglas Shoulders, 73, of Scottsville passed away Wednesday, November 2 at Hospice House in Bowling Green.
He was born January 27, 1943 in Gallatin, TN to the late Robert Ernest Shoulders and Georgia Gladys Parker Shoulders. He was a retired steel metal worker, a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #20 and a member of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church. He was united in marriage on June 30, 1961 to the former Karen Sue Drollinger.
He is survived by his wife Karen Sue Drollinger Shoulders of Scottsville, two sons: Monty Douglas Shoulders and wife Michelle of Bethpage, TN, James Ray Shoulders and wife Jennifer of Mineral, VA, one daughter: Kimberly Jean Moffitt and husband Jim of Scottsville, three brothers: William Lee Shoulders and Robert Shoulders both of Indianapolis, Ray Shoulders of Clayton, IN, one sister: Marjorie Sullivan of Mooresville, IN, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 6 at 3:00 PM at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 9:00 PM on Saturday, November 5 at Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville and there will be no visitation at the funeral home on Sunday.
