  	Death came her this morning to Mrs. Nora Grindrod, 49, widow of Roy Grindrod, , Fairview District farmer. She died at the home of her sister, Mrs. C. J. Houser, in Ellensburg. Mr. Grindrod died on December 10. 1935. Born in Ellensburg on March 1, 1888, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Bailes, Mrs. Grindrod spent her entire life in the Kittitas Valley. She attended the local school and graduated from Ellensburg High School. She was a charter member of the Rebekah Lodge of Kittitas and was a member of the Christian Church. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are five children; Mrs. Dee Gafford and Betty Grindrod of Ellensburg and Mrs. Lois Owen of Cle Elum and John and Edward Grindrod of Ellensburg; four sisters, Mrs. C. J. Houser, Mrs. E. R. Edwards and Mrs. R. S. Ayers of Ellensburg and Mrs. H. M. Shephard of Klamath Falls, Ore., and three brothers, W. T. Bailes and Loyal Bailes of Ellensburg and Jack Bailes of Eugene, Ore. Funeral services will be held at the Honeycutt Chapel on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. W. W. Fleming in charge.
