  	Paul Lyndol Drullinger, 80, of Hoopeston, died at 8:31 p.m. Sept. 11, 2011 at the Hoopeston Community Memorial Hospital. Paul was born May 21, 1931 in Bismarck, he was the son of Earl and Clarice (Green) Drullinger. He married Sandra S. Edwards on July 31, 1979 in Lafayette, Ind. She survives. Also surviving are six children: Mark (Nancie) Drullinger, of San Antonio, Texas, Valerie Faucett, of San Antonio, Jackie (Gary) Haas, of Rossville, John (Monica) Drullinger, of Ellijay, Ga., Scott (Caroline) Bagley, of Albuquerque, N.M., Sean Bagley, of Bloomington, Ind.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Donald (Thelma) Drullinger, three sisters: Agnes (Jake) Beck, Rosalie (Joe) Lombardo, Ava (Joe) Greico, infant daughter, Theresa, and one step-son, Mike Bagley. Paul was a member of the first graduating class from Schlarman High School in 1949. He was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Hoopeston. Paul had served 17 years in the U.S. Air force and five years in the Air Force Reserves. He then worked for Danville Metal Stamping for seven years and then worked for the G.E. Air Craft Engine Group in Albuquerque, NM for 15 years, retiring in 1996. Paul was a member of the American Legion and a Lifetime Member of the V.F.W. both in Hoopeston. He enjoyed reading, drinking coffee with his friends, spending time with family and friends and giving good advice to his children. A funeral mass for Mr. Drullinger will be presented at 10 a.m. Sept. 16 at the St. Anthony Catholic Church, 423 S. Third St. in Hoopeston. Father Geoffrey Horton will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Brown-Alkire Funeral, 309 E. Washington in Hoopeston. As per his wishes, Mr. Drullinger will be cremated after the services. Burial of his ashes will take place at 10 a.m. Sept. 24 at the Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston. Memorials may be made to the Schlarman Academy in Danville. The Brown-Alkire Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
