    • The funeral of Mrs. Clair Drullinger Bewyer, whose death occurred at her home in this city last Thursday morning, was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late home. Re. W. Dieffenbach of the Lutheran Church officiated and music for the occasion was furnished by Miss Anna Vieth with Mrs. C. M. Fisk as accompanist.
The pallbearers were Frank Bilderback, Irvan Skow, Harry Scarborough, E. L. Eustice, Ray Gibford, and Earl Cooper.
The house was filled with relatives and friends and the casket was almost hidden with flowers brought and sent.
The death of Mrs. Bewyer was very sudden although she had been ill for several weeks. For a week she seemed to be improving slowly and had been able to be up a few minutes at a time.
She was born July 7, 1881, at St. Joe, Ill. The first day of January this year she became the wife of Mr. Frank Bewyer of this city. They went to housekeeping immediately after their marriage and her untimely death will be greatly mourned and the sympathy of many goes out to her husband and parents, who were here at the time of her death.
A large number of the Pythian Sisters attended the funeral.
She is survived by her husband, her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Drullinger and sisters, Mesdames Leo Freise and P. Hannahan of Ogden, Ill., and one brother, W. O. Drullinger, of Kansas City, all of whom were present at the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Clark of Oneita were also present.
