FULL OBITUARY: Harvey "Taylor" Ford, Jr. 68, residing in Mishawaka, passed away at 11:11 pm Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in his home. He was born February 25, 1944 in Putnam County, TN to the late Harvey T. and Blanche (Randolph) Ford, Sr. On July 8, 1961 in Mishawaka, Taylor married the former Patricia M. Druelinger, who survives. Taylor lived in this area most of his life, moving here from Tennessee. He owned and operated Castle Construction Company in South Bend and was formerly employed by Schafer Gear Works and ERIC Machine Company in South Bend. He attended Little Flower Catholic Church and was an avid fisherman and golfer. In addition to his loving wife, Patricia of Mishawaka, Taylor is survived by his children, Ken (Gail) Ford of Mishawaka, Todd (Julie) Ford of Mishawaka and Ginger Harley of South Bend; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren; brother Tommy (Antionette) Ford of Mishawaka; sister in law Carol Ford of Nashville, TN; and brother in law Dr. Mel (Judy) Druelinger of Colorado Springs, CO. He was preceded in death by one brother, Don Ford. The family wishes to thank Dr. Gerald Morris for his kindness and care of Taylor during his illness. Funeral services for Taylor will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in Palmer Funeral Home ~ River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, where friends may visit from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.
