    • A Graveside Service, with military honors, will be held Tuesday - July 10th, 2007 at Willamette National Cemetery; in honor of Mr. Robert Trullinger, who passed away on July 2nd, 2007 in Portland, Oregon.
      Mr. Trullinger was born and raised, in Coon Rapids, Iowa by his parents Bernard W. and Esther (Unger) Trullinger.
      After Robert finished high School, he went on to attend Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and also AIB in Des Moines, Iowa. Having a desire to support and serve his country, he decided to enlist in the armed forces. He soon became a proud member of the Army Air Force Signal Corp, rising to the rank of Sergeant, between January of 1944 and May of 1945 he was stationed in Italy.
      Later in 1945 he moved to the "mile high city" Denver, Colorado, but not for long because he soon heard the call of the North West,and in 1946 he moved his family and settled in Oregon, where lived the rest of his life.
      While he was yet in the army he fell in love and married Mary M. Schuening, the year was then 1943.
      Robert was precede in death by his baby daughter Mary Esther Trullinger in January of 1944; however he is survived by his wife Mary, and his daughters Susan Bach and Janet Rickel.
      The Trullinger family has asked that in lieu of flowers, remembrances are to be sent to Providence Home Services Hospice Foundation. Arrangements are by Zeller Chapel of the Roses*
