      He was born April 11, 1877, in Clay county, the son of James andMartisha Warmoth Estes. He was a carpenter and had lived most of hislife around Excelsior Springs, except the last few years at Omaha.
      Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Bert Gleason, this city, and MaryShafter, Wilmington, Ill.; and three half sisters, Mrs. Susie Frey,and Mrs. Lizzie Brooks, both of Kansas City, Mrs. Dicie Gorham,Elmira; and several nieces and nephews. [end]
