Services For Tom Estes, 74, Former resident, will be held 2 p. m.Wednesday at Prichard Funeral home with the Rev. Wilbur Holmanofficiating. Burial will be in Salem cemetery. He died April 21 inan Omaha, Neb., hospital.
He was born April 11, 1877, in Clay county, the son of James andMartisha Warmoth Estes. He was a carpenter and had lived most of hislife around Excelsior Springs, except the last few years at Omaha.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Bert Gleason, this city, and MaryShafter, Wilmington, Ill.; and three half sisters, Mrs. Susie Frey,and Mrs. Lizzie Brooks, both of Kansas City, Mrs. Dicie Gorham,Elmira; and several nieces and nephews. [end]
