Helen E. Trullinger, 84, of Cottage Grove died March 27, 2010 from agerelated causes.
She was born Dec. 26, 1925 in Clarks, Neb. to Melvin and GertrudeTrullinger.
Helen grew up and attended school in Clarks,?completing the ninthgrade before the family moved to Oakland, Calif.
On Sept. 1, 1946 in Oakland, she married Wayne Trullinger. He died in1984.
That year she moved to Cottage Grove from Hayward, Calif.
She was a homemaker.
She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Sheenjoyed sewing, knitting and gardening. In earlier years, she andWayne traveled and camped in their trailer.
She is survived by a son, Gary Trullinger and wife, Gloria, of CottageGrove, two brothers, Ralph Smith of Arizona and Harold Smith ofOakland, Calif., two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held today, March 31 at 4 p.m. at SmithLund Mills Funeral Chapel.
