Padgett, who died Saturday in Community Hospital, formerly was a branch manager of Clark Lift six years and an auditor for Standard Oil Division of Amoco Oil 20 years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Fatima Council and Indianapolis Maennerchor. He attended Indiana Central University and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
