The following children survive: Mrs. Robert McClellan, at home; Harvey, Emaus; Mrs. Howard Dietrich, Reading; David, Factoryville; Jacob, William and A. C. Hertzog, Allentown, and Mrs. M. W. Snyder, Alburtis. The funeral will be held Monday, October 2 at 10 a.m. from his late home. All services will be conducted at the house, Rev. W. L. Meckstroth officiating. Interment will be made in the Longswamp cemetery.

The funeral of David T. Hertzog was held on Monday forenoon at 10 o'clock, in Longswamp church. Services were conducted by Rev. W. L. Meckstroth, the Reformed pastor. Interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church. Deceased was a well-known farmer here and died suddenly last Tuesday morning at his home. He was 79 years, 3 months and 16 days old, and was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia, nine months ago. He was a son of David and Sarah (nee Trollinger) Hertzog, and was born in Lower Macungie township.
