MARIETTA - James Doyle Trollinger, 76, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a brief illness. He was a retired employee of the State Highway Department and a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed bluegrass music and talking with his friends.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Greenway and Bro. Ronnie Livingston officiating. Burial will be in Zion Rest Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Doris Burns Trollinger; two brothers, Gene Trollinger of Rienzi and Gilbert Trollinger of Judsonia, Ark.; two grandchildren, Zackary and Jasary Trollinger; one great-granddaughter, Zoe Grace Trollinger; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Mable Trollinger; a son, Terry Trollinger; and a sister, Pauline DeCicco.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Hester, Bill Williams, Bobby Maddox, Roger Griffin, Eddie Mauney and Buster Green.
Visitation will continue until service time today.
