  I place him here in the tree as pure speculation and guesswork on my part. He may be the father of 1826 William and 1829 Samuel or he may not be. There is no evidence to support either case. GLD Dec 2012 He may be the Trollinger married to Elizabeth of the 1860 census, mother of Lemuel the shoemaker. Added here as speculation on my part as he fits in the right niche since Sarah is too old to have the 2 children. GLD 2012. I believe Sarah "Sallie" Trollinger (b abt 1828 SC) and wife of George McKinney could be the daughter of James J, Trollinger (b 1775).
