Gender Female Death 15 Nov 2004 Palmetto, Fulton, GA - Mary Trollinger, a resident of Palmetto, passed away late Monday night, November 15, 2004 at the Fayette Community Hospital. She was 74 years old. Mrs. Trollinger was born February 8, 1930 in Atlanta and lived all of her life in the greater Atlanta area. She worked for the United States Forest Service until her retirement. Mrs. Trollinger was very affectionate toward children and took many in as her adopted children, in addition to the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren she already had. For most of her life, she was the Queen and the strength of her family. Mrs. Trollinger was a lifelong member of Custer Avenue Baptist Church and was a woman of great faith and passed that same love for God on to her children. She was also very involved in geneology and received much pleasure working on a computer to the early morning hours putting families and history together. She will be greatly missed and her life will be forever cherished to all who knew her. Mrs. Trollinger was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Raymond E. Trollinger; a son, a grandson, brother and sister. Survivors include three daughters, Peggy McClure, Newnan; Sherry Bramlet, Marietta; and Kathy Smith, Newnan; two sons, Andy Trollinger, Marietta; and Kevin Trollinger, Palmetto; seventeen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 PM Friday, November 19, 2004 at the Shepard Funeral Service Chapel (formerly Higgins Funeral Home), with Rev. John Riley, officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Hill Memorial Park. Shepard Funeral Service at Holly Hill Memorial Park in charge of the arrangements, 770-964-7833.

When I started this, I had no idea where it would lead. But somehow, when I get "stuck" the worse, along comes some wonderful Angel with just the right answer to my questions. Like Joyce from Macon, Georgia, who found my grandparents' Marriage Certificate and sent me a copy. Pat from Marietta, Georgia. And Bev and all the people on the Pittman line. Elviswayne who found my greatgrandpa. Rebecca, you're wonderful. I'm still having a hard time with the Martins' and Windells' from Indiana, the Pittmans' and Thompsons' from GA., and a certain part of the Trollinger family is driving me (and others) crazy. I have lost some people (my first grandson, Shannon McClure, my husband, Raymond Edgar Trollinger, and my son-in-law, Phillip "Sonny" McClure) and I have found or been found by nephews and nieces. But as long as the Angels keep helping me I may get through before the Rapture! After that, I'll see all these people for myself!
