Frances Harvey "Dilcie" Wilson, 95, of 712 Mulberry Road, Martinsville, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at her home. She was the widow of Alec Charles Wilson Sr.
She was born on June 27, 1906, in Pulaski County, to the late Lewis Harvey and the late Bettie Trolinger Harvey.
From 1979 until 1987 she was president of Wilson Quarries. She had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church since 1934; was a charter member of the Beaver Creek Garden Club, and a member of the Joseph Martin Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Current Event Book Club.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Littleton Wilson and Alec Charles Wilson Jr., both of Martinsville; one granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church of Martinsville. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
The body will be placed in the home at 712 Mulberry Road, where she lived for 71 years. The family will receive friends at the home Thursday evening.
