  • Notes
    • Because no death data can be found for Johann it appears that he, like his siblings, Christina, Juliana, Anna Maria and Sophia, died as a stillborn or infant.

It needs to be noted that Ancestry (as of 24 Jun 2023) has data suggesting that Adam Ludwig Knolinger may be a son Johann. This is highly doubtful and like his name Knolinger implies, he is actually a completely different genetic bloodline who was born in or around Knolling, Germany. According to German tradition, many surnames arose based upon the town or region they originated from. There is a town in the Bavaria region of Germany by the name of Knolling.
