- CALDWELL - Paul J. Law, 74, of Caldwell, died Thursday, March 19, 1987, at home of natural causes.
Funeral services will he held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 23, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Caldwell. Pastor Ramiro Cruz-Ahedo of the Wilder United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Wilder Cemetery.
Mr. Law, a retired farmer, was born Feb. 3, 1913, in the Greenleaf community, a son of David Hays and Pearl Green Law. Paul moved with his family to Culver, Ore., then to Wilder. He attended elementary schools in Oregon and Idaho, and graduated from Wilder High School in 1931. He attended the College of Idaho and farmed at Fair Acres, a community near Greenleaf, and in Wilder and Culver. He married Wilma Gahley on Oct. 22, 1938. They had lived in the Fair Acres community since their marriage. He had been a member of Caldwell Elks Lodge # 1448 for 39 years, and a member of the Wilder Odd Fellows Lodge for 53 years.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma of Fair Acres; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Gloria and their son, Tyler, of Wilder; two brothers, Denver Law of Apache Junction, Ariz., and David H. Law Jr. of Redmond, Ore.; a sister, Gladys Bishop of Melba; and six nephews and two nieces. A daughter, his parents and a brother died earlier.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Wilder United Methodist Church, or to the West Valley Medical Center Hospice Program.
Friends may call today from 1 to 6 p.m., and Monday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.
