  Charlie is identified as Charlie J. Trollinger in his mother, Annie's obituary. What does the 'J' stand for? Is it a middle initial or does it stand for Junior? He identifies himself as 'Charlie Bud Trolinger Jr.' on his WWII DRC. Because no middle name beginning with the letter 'J' can be found for him, it appears that Bud probably is his middle name versus a nickname and since he and his father are both named Charlie, he probably went by 'C J' which was short for 'Charlie Junior'. Hopefully, one of his descendants knows for sure and will contact us here at Drollingergenalogy.com and set his record straight. Charles and Helen must have had another son who probably died before George because George's obit says he is survived by a sister-in-law, Catherine Trollinger.
