  	MEBANE - Mrs. Narvie L. Trollinger Scott, 90, of 6404 Nicks Road, died September 2, 2010 at Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Alamance. She was the wife of the late Mr. William P. Scott and the daughter of Mr. Charlie Hill Trollinger and Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Greene Trollinger, both deceased. Mrs. Scott was a member of Belview Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Annie R. Morrow of Mebane; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by all five of her siblings. The public viewing will be Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 1 until 9 p.m. at Sharpe Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Belview Baptist Church by Pastor Alex Turner. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times the family will receive friends at the home. Sharpe Funeral Home is serving the family. • Notes

  Narvie's obit lists her mother as Annie Elizabeth Green Trollinger however I found the obit for Annie Elizabeth Trollinger which indicated her maiden name was Dickey and even indicated her fathers full name. I would be inclined to go with the Dickey maiden name as there were still surviving children of Annie Elizabeth Trollinger alive at the time who would have known her maiden name. Another theory is Annie Elizabeth Dickey could have been married to a Green prior to marrying Charles Trollinger. She is identified as Narva in her mother's obituary. It appears that Narvie may have had a relationship with Robert Crisp, however, it also does not appear they were formally married.
