      Obit Mrs Jane McGinnis aged 75 died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Alexander Patterson, 1 Warren Street Allegheny, wednesday evening at 9 o'clock. She was born in St. John Canada and went with her parents to Philadelphia, later coming to Allegheny. She was the widow of Capt. William McGinnis who was prominent among the old time river captains on the Allegheny and Ohio rivers. She is survived by five children, Mrs Josephine Drollinger, Mrs Mayme Patterson, Mrs Carrie Meier, Mrs Ada Dodge and Miss Emma McGinnis. The funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock at her late residence, the internment taking place in Uniondale Cemetery.

Born in St. Johns, New Brunswick 74 years ago, and became a resident of Allegheny in infancy She was the widow of the late Capt. Wm McGinnis and is survived by the following children (listed above) 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
