VICTORIA - After a long, valiant battle with cancer, Laurie Michelle Trollinger died on May 31, 2015 in Victoria, Texas with her family by her side. She was 43. Laurie leaves behind her two sons, Shea Hillmer, and Coby Trollinger and daughter Kaycee McElwee and husband Russell.
Laurie was born on April 9, 1972 in Victoria, Texas to Anita Trollinger. Laurie is survived by her mother and beloved children, her brother, Brad Trollinger, and numerous other family members. She had a joyful spirit, an iron-will and was brave to the very end.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Laurie's life at a memorial service to be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11am with a luncheon immediately following; all are welcome. It was Laurie's request that no black attire be worn, only bright colors.
