It would seem likely that William's true birth date is 20 Oct 1926 since that is the date he himself reported it to be on his World War II Draft Registration Card. His birth date of 10 Jan 1927 was supplied by his sister, Frances, who was the informant on his death certificate. It would seem more likely he would know his own birth date better than his sister.
