- PERRYTON - Olaf Mays, 78, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Southside Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Loper of the Cornerstone Church in Borger and the Rev. Geary Martin of the Southside Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Mr. Mays was born in El Dorado Springs, Mo., and moved to the area in 1929.
He ran a bus route for Perryton schools, owned and operated Mays Produce and worked for Fairmont Distributors. He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Perryton.
He married Beth Trollinger in 1948 at Pampa.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Judy Mays of Dallas, Debra Loper of Borger and Melinda Coventry of Amarillo; and six grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Gideon International.
