Rita graduated from Quinton High School in 1956 and married William Trollinger on June 7, 1956. They were blessed with three sons: Lari, Terry, and Bruce. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. The family moved to Shawnee with in 1968. Rita was very supportive of anything her children would do and was always there for them. She was very organized and enjoyed listening to country music. Later in life, she had her own dune buggy and liked driving it dangerously. She also enjoyed RV'ing and camping with the family, and she had a deep love for flying as well. Anyone that came in contact with Rita fell in love with her sweet and good-natured personality. All the kids in the neighborhood wanted to hang out at her house.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and younger brother R.J. She is survived by her three sons; sister Cleta Parks; brother-in-law Oliver Trollinger; and grandchildren Bryan Trollinger, Cody Trollinger, Johnny Trollinger, Timothy Trollinger, Katie Trollinger, and Emma Trollinger.
