- James Barry McGivern, 83, of Monroeville, died Wednesday, March 1,2006, in The Cedars of Monroeville. He was born Jan. 4, 1923, inMcKeesport, and was the son of the late Patrick J. and Margaret BarryMcGivern. He was a private first class in the Marine Corps duringWorld War II and was a retired truck driver. He is survived by sons,Patrick J. McGivern, of Monroeville, Timothy J. (Andean Plaza)McGivern, of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandchildren, Gabriella and PaulinaMcGivern; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by asister, Patricia Trollinger. There is no visitation. Funeral servicewith military honors will be held at the St. Joseph Cemetery, NorthVersailles at 2 p.m. Friday. Inurnment will follow there.
