- MARIETTA - Susie Estes Burns, 93, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at theDaniel Nursing Home in Fulton after a brief illness. She was ahomemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardeningand quilting.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro.Ronnie Livingston and Bro. Rodney Livingston officiating. Burial willbe in the Zion Rest Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Doris Trollinger (Doyle) of Marietta;two sons, Clinton Burns (Betty) of Marietta and Kenneth Burns (Sara)of Ridgeland; one grandson, Ronald Burns (Melissa) of Marietta; fourgreat-grandchildren, Zack Trollinger of Booneville, Jasary Trollingerof Cullman, Ala., and Beau Burns and Clint Burns, both of Marietta;one great-great-granddaughter, Zoe Trollinger of Cullman, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances Newton and MattieLou Estes; her husband, Grafton Burns; four sisters, Mae Rummage,Della Gardner, Fannie Lauderdale and an infant sister; five brothers,Grover Estes, Emmett Estes, Elbert Estes, George Estes and LeslieEstes; and a grandson, Terry Trollinger.
Pallbearers will be Beau Burns, Clint Burns, Zack Trollinger, MichaelRamey, Jason Ramey and Richey Livingston.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and until service timeSunday.
