Homer Curtis Washburn, 92, of Eden , died Sunday at N.C. BaptistHospital , Winston-Salem . His son, Mac Washburn and his wife Brenda,reside in Smyrna .
His funeral was held Tuesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, Eden. Burialfollowed at Overlook Mausoleum.
Mr. Washburn was born in Spray to the late Edgar Washburn and the lateClara Dehart Washburn. He was a charter member of Spray Baptist Churchand retired from Fieldcrest Mills after 50 years of service.
He is survived by three daughters, Gloria Baker and husband Jack andCindy Harman and husband Jack, all of Eden, and Gayle Trollinger andhusband Curtis of Cascade, Va.; an additional son, Homer CurtisWashburn Jr. and wife Doris of Eden; a sister-in-law, Mary Rigney ofEden; two brothers-in-law, Curtis Bennett of Eden and Jerry Bennett ofRock Hill, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Fair Funeral Home of Eden.
