  	Calvin Trollinger, 71, of Cottage Grove and originally of the mid-valley, died Friday in Portland. Born in Lebanon, the son of Howard and Norene (Sims) Trollinger, Calvin was raised and attended schools in Scio and was a member of the Scio Baptist Church. Calvin was a welder by trade and worked a variety of jobs throughout the valley. He enjoyed hunting. Survivors include sons Steven of Salem, Wesley of Keizer, and Larry; daughter Brenda of Salem; brother Harold of Newberg and sister Sharon Huntington of Albany; and 2grandchildren. Private family services are being planned. Private interment will be in the Miller Cemetery at Shelburn.
