LaQuita Joy Thompson was born Oct. 2, 1934, in Texas, the daughter ofLemuel and Ruby Trolinder Glenn-Bigelow. She died June 13, 2012, atMercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. She was a longtime resident ofCalumet and was a licensed practical nurse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemuel Arthur Glenn and RubyLee(Trolinder) Bigelow; brothers, Delton Ray Glenn and Melton GayGlenn; and a sister, Dorothy Lee Glenn-Lisik.
She is survived by her husband, 5 children, 2 brothers, and a sister;15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Friday at Huber-Benson Funeral Home. No servicesare planned.

LaQuita married Frederick George Boyton February 1953 in Nevada andthey moved to New Jersey and then to New York until their divorce inOctober 1976. She moved from New York to Oklahoma where she met andmarried her husband in May 1977.
