She was born in Bradford, PA on April 11, 1947 to Peter Paul Padasak and Evelyn Trolinger Padasak. She married Lester D. Martz on April 23, 1977 in Dallas, Texas and following his retirement they moved to Richland Chambers Lake. Karen was a wonderful person who loved deeply and inspired her family to believe in themselves. She always had a kind heart and helping hand for others. She was an excellent aunt who could make miracles happen. She believed in fairies and rainbows and enjoyed a good fireball. She will be missed by many and was truly loved by all.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents, step-son Lester J. Martz. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Lester D. Martz. Step-son Jaedeniah D. Martz. Sisters; Lynn Kincaid, Donna McKervey and Sister Mich. She is also survived numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
There will be a family memorial service at a later date and burial will follow at Dallas / Fort Worth National Cemetery.
