- Nathan Neil Trolinger, 58, of Macomb, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Oklahoma City.
He was born June 19, 1957 to Cecil Monroe Trolinger and Edna Pauline (Guess) Peck in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Nathan was raised in Altus and Quinton, Oklahoma. He attended Stigler Public Schools. Nathan has lived in Macomb for the past 19 years.
Nathan proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 8 years until his was honorable discharge.
He married Joy Edwards on July 26, 1974 in Clarksville, Texas.
During Nathan's career he worked as a long-haul truck driver, owned a bar in Longtown, OK and worked at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery. He retired from the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City as an Information Security Officer.
Nathan loved baking cakes, breaking horses and coaching little league sports. He was very dedicated to grandchildren and enjoyed attending their sporting events and activities.
He was preceded in death by his mother; stepfather, Victor Ivan Peck, Sr.; 2 brothers, Victor Ivan Peck, Jr. and Stephen Peck.
Nathan is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Joy L. Trolinger of the home; 3 daughters and 3 sons-in-law, Tracy and Preston Larson of Norman, OK, TaNeil and Tracy James of Tecumseh, OK, and Tami and Michael Manning of Oklahoma City, OK; 7 grandchildren, Chris James, Austin Trolinger, Peter Larson, Brayden James, Starla Manning, Jasper Larson and Persephone Larson; 1 great-grandson, Elijah James; 3 sisters and 1brother-in-law, Brenda and Bill Harkins of Wheatland, OK, Sondra Holman of Jacktown, OK and Lisa Allen of Wichita, KS; 3 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law, Randy Peck of Wichita, KS, Keith and Vanessa Trolinger of Yukon, OK and Alech and Donna Trolinger of Mt. Olive, NC; father, Cecil M. Trolinger; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2016 and continue through service time. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Riley Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery in Macomb under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
