Notes - Beginning in 1800 he sold off the grant in 100 acre parcels, each for $100. On September 20th of that year, he sold pieces to his son John, Jr. and Frederick. Frederick's deed does not name him as a son. Both deeds refer to these parcels being "part of a larger tract of five hundred acres" that John Drollinger obtained from the state of North Carolina. John Jr.'s 100 acres is named as the seat tract.
