Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 39 years, Donnie Connard; her daughter, Shannon Frady of Bessemer City; granddaughter, Hailey Frady. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Shane Brown; four sisters and five brothers. Thelma was a retired textile worker. She worked for TiCaro-Arlington Mill and Ithaca Industries. She also worked at Dan's Restaurant preparing and serving food. Thelma was known as a real people person and was loved by all who knew her.
