- Gary Lee Spears, 69, of Quinton, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Quinton Manor. He was born September 18, 1949 in McAlester to F.M. and Dollie (Strain) Spears.
He grew up in Quinton where he graduated from Quinton High School. He lived in Tulsa and worked in a Welding Shop. He moved back home to begin working in the Oil Field as a Pumper. He loved fishing, playing Bingo, and watching OU Sooner Football.
Gary is survived by his 2 sons, Chris Spears and wife Melvena of Russellville, James Spears of Brooken; 3 grandchildren, Kenton & Nikki Spears of Holdenville; 2 great grandchildren, Carson & Newt; numerous cousins and other relatives.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, F.M. ?Bat? & Dollie Spears; a great grandchild, McKenzie Spears.
Graveside Service 2:30 P.M. Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Mountain Home Cemetery with Pastor George Mantooth officiating. Burial will follow immediately.
