- Note: Because they are both listed as almost the same age, both black, both living in Graham and both as domestic servants, I believe Lucy Trollinger (b abt 1852 apparent daughter of Fannie) and Lucy Trollinger (b abt 1849) are probably one in the same people. They are both listed in the 1870 Census for Graham, Alamance, NC. I believe they are duplicated in the censuses due to the date difference and one was enumerated in the family household where she worked as a domestic servant and again in her presumed mother's (Fannie) household. She was probably not a live-in domestic servant. DHD 7 Jan 2013
