  	R. Wayne "fishhook" Hooks, 73, of Westville passed away at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at his home. He was born Sept. 17, 1935 in Clinton, Tennessee to Earnest and Lizzie May Hicks Hooks. He married Connie M. Cox on Nov. 3, 1988 in Clinton, Tennessee. She survives. He is also survived by a son, Tim (Kari) Hooks; two daughters, Tammy Elston and Angie Noah; a stepdaughter, Kimberly (Morris) Harvey; two stepsons, Robert Cox and John (Teri) Cox Jr.; three sisters, Sue (Bob) Ellis, Edna (Terry) Bryant and Betty Jarnigen; two brothers, Arnold (Glenna) Hooks and Kenneth (Lana) Hooks; nine grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Hooks and daughter, Tina Myrick. Wayne was a meat cutter for the Grab-it-Here stores for 20 years and a truck driver for 30 years.
