- Scott A. Hansen, 58, of Johnson Creek, formerly of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Debra Hansen; sons, Andrew (Aimee) Hansen and Chad Hansen; and a daughter, Melanie Hansen. He was the loving Papa to his three grandchildren, Sylvia, Chandlor and Lauryn. He is also survived by his mother, Loretta Hansen; three brothers, Jeff Hansen, Jack (Joan) Hansen and Steve Hansen; and loving nieces and nephews. Scott leaves behind his two best friends, Blizzard and Kodiak.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Hansen.
Scott was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Okauchee, where he shared his strong faith with his family. Scott enjoyed the outdoors, riding his snowmobile and all-terrain vehicle, NASCAR, watching the Packers, cooking - especially on his grill, and spending time with his family and friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always wanted to make people laugh.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Monday, Feb. 25, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Okauchee.
Memorials can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Scott was an organ donor recipient and an advocate for organ donation.
