Baskin, 84, 1202 Normandy St., is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Denton Funeral Home Chapel with Ray Bailey, of Fox and Lake Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harold Atkinson, Joe Bright, Thurman DeBruce, Alvin McNabb, Owen Morrow and Thomas Samuels. Mrs. Baskin died Friday at Guadalupe Medical Center. She was born March 13, 1906, in Winston-Salem, N.C., and moved to Carlsbad in the early 1960s. A homemaker, she belonged to the Fox and Lake Church of Christ. She married Sam H. Baskin in Albuquerque on Sept. 4, 1976. Survivors include her widower, of Carlsbad; three daughters, Frances Beverly, Bristol, Tenn., Glenda Williamson, Dallas, and Ann Berry, Silver Springs, Md.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
