- Marjorie was the daughter of James and Flora Hunter.
They have preceded her in death as well all her siblings, Annie Stice, Gertie Lassiter, Bea Taulbee, Oma Stone, Florene Reams, Helen Pitts, James Floyd Hunter and Denzil L. Hunter.
Marjorie married Guy F. Wright on January 9, 1940, in Amarillo, Texas. He also has preceded her in death.
Marjorie was Owner/Operator of the Palace Drug Store in Roswell from 1946 to 1984. She was members of Roswell Samaritan Rebekah Lodge No. 141 O.O.F., She was the Deputy District President and held a certificate of past Noble Grand in 1959. She was a member of the Drove No. 155 B.P.O., Does of the Roswell Elks Lodge, she was a charter member of the Does and served as President in 1965. Then she was a member of New Mexico District South BPO Does and was elected as president in 1977.
She is survived by a son: Tom Wright and his wife Reta of Roswell; Grandchildren: Guy Thomas Wright and his wife Sandra, Jared Wright and his wife Mindy, Billy Wright, and Edwin Aldridge. Step Granddaughter: Kelly Mysza and her husband Jim; One great grandson and two great granddaughters.
